Vermont Arts: Open Studio Weekend
Saturday, May 26th & Sunday, May 27th
How can you tell that it's really spring in Vermont? Is it the green grass or the black flies? No, it's the yellow Open Studio Weekend signs that dot the landscape for the twenty-sixth annual Open Studio Weekend. Statewide, over 200 artists and artisans, galleries and community centers will open their doors during Memorial Day Weekend, May 26th and 27th.
Potters, sculptors, weavers, painters, jewelry makers, wood turners, furniture makers and glassblowers will welcome you into their working studios for a behind-the-scenes look at their creative spaces.
Pick up a map for this event at any participating studio or gallery, or at any information center on I-91 or I-89. Plan your tour with information online at vermontcrafts.com where you can find artist profiles, and downloadable maps and directions.
Open Studio Weekend is produced by the Vermont Crafts Council and sponsored by the Vermont Arts Council and The Point. Is it spring yet? Find out for yourself. Follow the yellow signs on Open Studio Weekend May 26th and 27th and buy local Art and Craft!
