OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Director to support our radio company operating out of our Montpelier studio.
This role plays a critical part in keeping daily station operations running smoothly by managing commercial traffic logs, supporting sales staff and handling financial processes.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with deadlines, managing multiple tasks, and communicating across departments including sales, corporate offices, engineers, and vendors. A team-oriented professional willing to take a hands-on approach when needed, including occasional visits to transmitter or facility sites. This role requires occasional hiking and lifting related to transmitter sites and radio equipment operations. Salary + Benefits and opportunities for growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Traffic & Programming Operations
- Manage traffic scheduling, continuity, and commercial log assembly for multiple radio stations
- Ensure accuracy and timely preparation of daily commercial logs
- Coordinate with programming and sales teams to ensure proper placement of advertising and sponsorships
Financial Administration
- Generate, reconcile, and distribute invoices to sales representatives and advertisers
- Manage collections and process cash and credit deposits
- Prepare monthly closing reports
- Determine and process credit/debit adjustments when necessary
- Assist the corporate office with financial reporting, analysis, and
- operational processes across markets
Sales Support
- Assist sales staff with administrative needs including client requests,
- invoices, contract confirmations, and pre/post logs
- Research and resolve discrepancies related to billing, logs, or contracts
Office & Operations Administration
- Submit payroll and track employee PTO
- Maintain employee personnel files and process new hire and termination paperwork
- Coordinate property and facilities maintenance across locations
- Serve as liaison with corporate offices, engineers, and outside vendors
Qualifications

BUSINESS COORDINATOR
We are seeking a part-time (10-20hrs/week) detail-oriented Business Coordinator to manage commercial scheduling, and financial tasks for our radio company. This role includes assembling daily commercial logs, ensuring accurate ad placement, and supporting month-end billing and collections.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and manage daily commercial logs
- Maintain commercial copy and continuity
- Coordinate with sales and programming teams
- Handle month-end billing, closing reports, and collections
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Accounting or billing experience preferred
- Broadcast traffic or scheduling experience helpful but is training provided
Pay
- $18.00 per hour
