The Point…Independent Radio since 1977, we love to play local music, deep tracks and new music. Every hour, we try to deliver you a mix that both helps you discover new music while throwing you back to all the songs you love.
With no corporate overseer telling us what to play, we’re free to take chances, to play the songs we think our listeners will enjoy, and yes, to take requests! The Point DJs love to discover new music and share those discoveries on the air.
We also love to support local talent. Many local artists often receive their first airplay on The Point, some of whom go on to great fame and become national acts, such as Grace Potter, Guster, Phish, Noah Kahan Neko Case and more.
