Shawn Colvin & Rodney Crowell Together On Stage! brings together two of Americana and roots music’s most respected voices for a one-of-a-kind performance.

Shawn Colvin stands out as a singular and enduring talent in an era when female singer-songwriters are ever more ubiquitous. Her songs are slow-release works of craft and catharsis that become treasured, lifetime companions for their listeners. As a storyteller, Colvin is both keen and warm-hearted, leavening even the toughest tales with tenderness, empathy, and a searing sense of humor. In the 30 years since the release of her debut album, Colvin has won three GrammyAwards, released thirteen albums, written a critically acclaimed memoir, maintained a non-stop national and international touring schedule, appeared on countless television and radio programs, had her songs featured in major motion pictures and created a remarkable canon of work.

Rodney Crowell, a native Texan and multi-Grammy Award winner, is known for his prolific songwriting career, with hits performed by artists like Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Keith Urban. With more than 40 years of American roots music under his belt, Crowell has also been cited as the architect of Americana music, extending his genre reach, but owing to the distinctly universal, literary quality of his writing, he has also penned beloved songs for artists as diverse as Bob Seger, Etta James, the Grateful Dead, John Denver, Jimmy Buffett and countless others. Crowell came up in Nashville’s songwriting heyday alongside Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt, and Steve Earle and has continued that legacy of camaraderie and kinship with his peers well into the iconic era of his career. As many say – “your favorite song was probably written by Rodney Crowell.” Crowell’s memoir, Chinaberry Sidewalks, and his collaboration with Mary Karr on Kin showcased his poetic songwriting. He released the album Triage in 2021 and continues to be a highly respected figure in roots music.
