Formed in 2000 as a one-time First Night act, the Vermont-based Bluegrass Gospel Project went on to enjoy a 16-year run, earning a fan-base throughout New England and beyond. During those years the group built an ironclad reputation for pure, unvarnished traditional music with impeccable instrumentals and mesmerizing harmonies.

Now, after an 8-year hiatus, the BGP is reuniting for a special Barre Opera House performance with a lineup that includes founding members Patti Casey (guitar, vocals), Paul Miller (guitar, vocals) , Taylor Armerding (mandolin, vocals), Steve Light (banjo, vocals) and Andy Greene (guitar, vocals). They’re joined by bassist Kirk Lord, who had an eight-year tenure with the group. Joining for the first time on fiddle with vocals  is the multi-talented Colin McCaffrey.
